BOTD 2008 (9/24/08 to 9/28/08)

This is mostly an RX8 gathering but we have no restrictions. Suby's, Miata's and even a Honda Fit has been known to show up and run the Dragon with us.

Place: The Dragon! North Carolina/Tennessee state line. That wonderful stretch of road labeled Route 129 (see DGRR event pictures). Location of the resort is still in the planning stages, working for the best deal.

Who: Anyone! Although it's called "Brotherhood of the Dragon", we aren't exclusive in any way. Catch one of the many forums that talk about this event and you'll see it's a blast if you love to drive and talk "cars".

When: September 24th (Wed) thru September 28th (Sun). Of course some can't make it until the weekend, others call it a vacation and take the whole week.

Well that totally F'ed up my plans...

BOTD it is for me then... promised the [FONT='Calibri','sans-serif']Fiancé we would go since she had a blast driving the Dragon!

...didn't enjoy RIDING with me but she totally enjoyed driving it. hmmmm....[/FONT]

im probably gonna try to make it up there for botd. what a better way to spend my bday weekend

Ha! It is much harder to enjoy the "ride". When you're driving there's that whole "in the zone" thing. You don't think about your stomach being thrown back and forth in between your ribs! The main thought of a rider is "Oh s&%t, I hope the brakes work!"
