FS: 1991 RX7, $3500, Lawrence, KS 66044, 137k miles, one owner, California car.
SOLD - 1991 RX7 Hatchback in Lawrence, Kansas. Brave Blue Mica with blue interior. 5-speed manual transmission. No accidents. Maintained in original condition. Power steering, windows and door locks. Stock accessories: wraparound rear spoiler, cloth seats, A/C, AM/FM/cassette with 6 speakers, alloy wheels, anti-theft alarm system, power sun roof. Mazda after-market extras: sun roof wind deflector and tonneau cover.
A great car purchased new at Pasadena Mazda in California. It was a Mazda executive’s demo car with 2600 miles on it when I took delivery. I am a non-smoker, had it in SoCal for 15 years with carport cover, now I’m in Kansas (the KC area). I hurt my knee and can no longer drive a clutch. Body and interior are very clean. Only minor body dings, some fading paint on the roof, back bumper finish is worn off, and a minor hood dent. Original engine and transmission never out of car. The engine runs strong but needs attention for a “check engine“ code that persists even after I had the spark plugs and wires, coolant temp sensor and oxygen sensor replaced. Needs tires, an oil pressure sensor, new speaker innards, a driver’s side interior door handle and a passenger door lock cylinder. Needs work on the driver’s side window mechanism (the window “drops” a few inches on opening) and A/C vent slats, as well as work on the antenna motor and the alarm system (which has sounded at random a couple times). Replacements in the last four years include water pump, belts, thermostat housing and thermostat, a/c compressor and receiver drier, mufflers, coolant temp sensor, oxygen sensor, clutch master cylinder and slave. Repair receipts since new, and Carfax report available. Lots more photos available. Serious inquiries only, please.
