Default s5 n/a question

a friend of mine bought an s5 n/a and someone removed the emissions and the secondary port actuators. I have a set of actuators and was wondering if it's possible to set them up like the s4 n/a's? I know how the s5's are activated and I have all the parts he needs to put everything back on,but he wants to do it as cheap as possible. will it work or does he need it back to stock?

You need air to drive them. I knew guy who used a small fish tank pump to drive them. I can't remember the pressure or if it needs to be always on etc. Hope this helps.
