Default Indiana: F/S 89 Vert shell + RB exhaust

It is with much sadness that I'm gonna offer up my southern vert shell, RB N/A exhaust and all the engine parts I have left.

Here is the car. The pic is about a 6 months old and it's been sitting in a pole barn since soon after this pic was taken.

Here's what all I"m trying to unload. I'd prefer to sell to one person but I will separate. I will not be parting out the shell.

89 Vert shell with no motor
-No rust at all anywhere. It has normal dents and dings.
-Needs a new top
-Will not include the turbo hood as I need it for my turbo swap. I can provide either an N/A black vert hood or I can source a silver turbo hood if needed
-Car will have a black front bumper
S5 N/A engine broken down and minus the rotors
-Other than low on power the engine had no issues before teadown
-Irons are reusable, one housing has significant flaking, other one seemed reusable
Racing Beat exhaust
-It's a full exhaust. Downpipe, presilencer, y-pipe and both cans. It's low mileage on them. I drove the exhaust daily for a year or so. Then it was put on my father's vert, but that car was a seasonal and weekend car. Very few miles were put on it since I stopped using it.

Story is that it was originally purchased in Southern Cali. I bought it from the 3rd owner in Atlanta. It never saw any snow before I owned it. The only snow it has seen is a few mild southern Indiana winters.

The car did have a turbo swap done to it. I detonated that engine almost 2 years ago and the car has sat ever since. I have since pulled that engine, rebuilt it and it is sitting in my new vert.

I am open to some trades or partial trades depending on whats available. Things I need are:
Rims
VMIC and all the bits and pieces
paint work. It's a long shot, but I have a turbo hood, MS scoop, front lip, and front bumper that needs painted black. If someone can provide quality prep and paint I'd be interested in trading.
RX-8 or FD seats
Last thing I can think of is various electronics (EBC, Wideband)

If you do decide to sell the exhaust separate let me know. I will take it off your hands.

I'll sell the exhaust separate, but I don't want to split up the exhaust parts. It's an all or none type thing.

I'll do the exhaust for $450 +shipping. I'm firm on the pricing, it's a fair price. Let me know your addy or zip and I can get your costs.

You missed a little bit. My rebuild and drivetrain swap is just about complete. I've moved everything into the black vert my father previously owned. I bought the 90 black vert from him to put my drivetrain into. It's going to an exhaust and brake shop on Friday to have the exhaust tightened up and brakes bled properly. After that I for the most part should be driving the turbo vert this weekend <tentative>

I still need to have body panels painted black and I'll be using the N/A hood overtop the TMIC till I decide who is doing my prep and paint. I've got my MBC set for zero boost and initially I won't be taking the engine over 3000 RPM...using the N/A hood temporarily shouldn't be an issue.

What has changed is that my daily driver mini-van is on it's last leg. It's not worth putting more money into. I'm taking on new rolls (PROMOTION!!) at work and will need something larger than a two-seater for some of my work duties. I still need to have a meeting with my bosses and owner to work out the details....but I don't expect my raise to be enough to both save for a new car as well as fund a new project. There is a small chance I'll keep the shell and sell everything else, but unless I win the lottery without having bought a ticket I just don't see it happening.

I originally wanted to use the southern shell as a new and larger project...but life has dictated other plans.

All that being said...can I unload all my N/A engine parts on your or do you only want the shell?

My brother was looking for a decent vert shell, we have a few motors here to use so, but I'll ask him this weekend. So if you could let me know what you would like to get for what you have & just for the shell.

Thanks

Zip is 20121. Were are you? I can always take a trip on the weekend depending on what shipping might be. I know greyhound can be cheap for big oversized stuff.

You caught me off guard by having someone interested this soon. I was expecting the thread to sit unnoticed while I got an idea of what shells and such are going for :P Give me a little bit of time to find out what this stuff is worth. Many apologies for not being better prepared.

I'm in Evansville, IN. It's probably quite a drive from Centerville. I've never shipped Greyhound. The easiest for me to ship is FedEx, but I believe it will also be more expensive. FedEx location is just down the road from work. UPS shipping is going to take me some time to get a quote in that the pickup/drop off warehouse isn't close and their hours of operation are identical to my work schedule. I'll have to change my work schedule around to get you that quote.

Yeah my brother & I were just talking about maybe picking up another 7, so I figured I would ask. He wanted a vert, but I have tossed the idea of owning a vert around over the past month or so. All in all no rush really.

$1200 for the shell, but you have to arrange and pay for transport of the shell.

Default F/S FD alt w/rotor shaped dual pulley

I'm going a different route with my alternator. It's got extremely low miles. I got it just before I detonated my engine and it's sat for some time. It's a reman'd and doesn't have more than a couple/few months of wear on it.

The pulley as more miles on it because I used it with a used FD alt that gave out on me.

Hell I'll even throw in a couple belts
$150+shipping

I may not be able to get you a cost till Monday after work. Unless it will fit in a flat rate box from USPS. I'll bring one home from work tomorrow, if it fits I'll know. If not it will have to wait till Monday to find out.
