Default Ssm fb...

So as many of you know I have, I have a TII swapped GSL-SE. I have dabbled in SSM over the past few years, but being a full time student with no job left me with only being able to attend a couple events a year. Now that I am working full time I want to give the local SSM class a serious effort. So far my suspension setup has been pretty plain with just ST Drop Springs and Tokico Illuminas and Camber Plates. This year I hope to go with ReSpeed coilovers and some sorta sway bar setup. I know ReSpeed offers a really nice front sway bar but no rear. What are yall's suggestions for a sway bar setup? For now I will probably try to continue running 225/45(or 50)-15 R-Comps on 15x8 wheels. Would like to eventually do ZG flares and run 10" wheels but the 275/35-15 A6's arent cheap lol.

I would also look into a pan hard bar, and don't do flares there dumb.

As for front and rear sways ,racing beat sells a rear and there's also suspension techniques that sells one. Respeed coilovers are nice just remember to man up and get the stiff set up the first time or else you'll have to soft of springs like me.

Why are the flares dumb? I need more room for wheels/tires if I seriously want to compete outside of my local region and a widebody is too expensive for me at this time. And what spring rate are you running?

I wanna say 400 and 150 my rears are to soft before the gap ill get some 200s.

You'll thinking flares are great until you start cutting to install them and then there's no going. Back so just make sure that's what you wanna do. Don't get me wrong they look great but you ruin a good shell and fenders in the process

From what I understand, alot of guys do not run a rear swap bar for autocross.

Evidently it helps with snap oversteer inherent with a Watts linkage.

You'll understand afterwards but anyways back on topic the zg flares wont really be able to handle ten wides youll have to play with offsets a lot id look into the bamf zg flares there more expensive and there wider. there like 3 in. in the front and 4 in. in the rear. Id also get re-speeds's camber plates theyll help you tuck em in a little better if your wanting to run a decent size tire up front and running the regular zg's.

Onto the cutting part the fronts are easy but the rears aren't as fun this is the write up i based mine off of

I currently have the respeed plates but without coilovers you cant do much adjusting. As far as cutting I know it sucks but you have to cut for a widebody too and that is my only other option. You got to remember in SSM I have to run against cars like Chadwick's FD. 225s on 8" rims wont cut it.
