Default Hi, "new" from New Jersey

Hey guys, I'm Sean, pandafb/82transam on some of the other forums. Signed up here a long time ago but haven't posted yet. Figured I would drop by and check this forum out again I've been into Rotaries, specifically FB Rx-7's (although I had an FC for a little while, and am going to be building a Rotary AE86 soon) for over 10 years. Earlier this year I picked up a 99 Impreza as a daily driver and spent a fair amount of time on those forums learning about them, as well as a lot of timing rebuilding its engine. Now that it's running I want to turn my focus back to the Rx7's, so thats why I'm here lol
Anyway, the Panda FB was the first car I built back in 2004, more or less stock besides a few suspension tweaks and the obvious color change (I did all the body and paint work myself) Still sporting the 12a, racing beat headers and muffler, and a few small tweaks. Just generally a fun car to drive.
I built the black FB after the Panda, it has a FC front subframe, S5 13bt, S5 T2 trans, ECU and a whole slew of other goodies. I still have a wish list of parts to get for it, but it's been on the road as it sits for a few years now and is a blast. I've put close to 10,000 miles on it in its current state.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi!

If I see it again there, I'll snap a picture. Only difference is his has the IMSA bumper like your black one.

I guess since our cars have such an oddball lug pattern its not too hard to find a bunch with the same wheels, thats still pretty funny though.
Do you have any pics of your FB posted on here?

I only have a few in my build thread. She is ugly right now.

I have been collecting parts for the interior, and was going to boost it, but decided an engine swap would make more power, and more sense. So I am planning a 13B-RE from a Cosmo hopefully next year.

Here is the thread. http://rotarycarclub.com/rotary_foru...ad.php?t=14381

That pic was taken right after I swapped in the GSL rear end, RB springs and BBS wheels.

Looks like a good start! Someday when the T2 in my black FB goes I would like to get a REW to replace it. Who knows if I'll be able to afford it though.

My '83 GSL is the one he saw on Friday night. Same paint job, except mine doesn't have the stripe at the color change. It just goes black from the molding down. Yours is the only one I have seen to match mine. Obviously great minds think alike. I painted mine in '84 after I had it for about a year. I'll try to get a picture up soon for you to look at. The black car is very nice also.

There it is!

I figured you might see this thread. I noticed the RCC stickers on your window, but was scratching my head since I had never seen the car before. I had to leave early, as my son was getting grumpy.

Good looking FB though!
