Basic gauge wiring question
Hi,
I have purchased a Autometer 4337M Water Temp Gauge and have an install question re the wiring. I think (hope) it will be simple and able to complete without the aid of an Auto Elecrician. In short, I am replacing a crappy WT gauge that displays degrees F - very inaccurately. The new gauge (Degrees C) comes with the Autometer sender. The old sender has 2 "posts" and the new has 1 only. The instructions claim the sender is grounded by the thread. Can someone make comment based on the attachment. Please note, I need to retain the "auto switch on function" of the thermo fan with this new gauge. (Car is a MG Midget with 13B N/A) THANK YOU! |
