The Newbie
|
New from Florida!!
Hello everyone. I have been into cars since I was a child so I am, by no means, not a noob. I have been into 240's for several years. I have had several chassis and several different motors. I recently got out of the 240 game when I happened across a silver 1987 RX-7 Turbo II for a grand. The young chick that owned didn't really know what she had and thought it was blown. I put my battery on it and it cranked right up. I've been hooked ever since. I have done some mild mods to it just keep it running reliably for now. I deleted everything I didn't need and blocked off everything I wasn't using. It has a 3 in down pipe to 3 in Apex'i exhaust. Solid mounts all through. Greddy electronics; Boost Gauge, Boost Controller, Turbo Timer, and Blow Off Valve and pipe. Here are some pics.
And here's how it looked when I first got it. |
