13b series 6 and 5 speed help

will the 12a turbo timing cover fit the series 6 13b? so i can make it front mount. will series 5 5 speed mate to series 6 motor with series 5 bellhousing? let me know people. also, does 12a turbo distributor fit 13b series 6 motor? allowing me to use a fuel only computer. thanks guys ! |

Ok, let me get this straight.
13b rew with s5 tranny in a rx4? If so the s5 tranny will bolt right up to the motor, and i'm not 100% sure but the front cover off the 12a should fit on the rew and then of cousre you will have to use a dizzy because the rew use crank pickup sensor rather than a cas like the rest of the 13b's. Early (S3) 13b front cover will definitely work, but I'm pretty sure there is more than a few 13b REW's using 12a covers.

The quest for more torque

I think if I recall correctly, the cover will bolt on, but the water pump will not bolt on after the cover is installed (they interfere). I know this is an issue between s4 and s5 and I am pretty sure that a 12a front cover will bolt on an s4.
