Suggestions for S5 NA Custom Exhaust Build
So here's the deal, I'm putting together an exhaust for my 91 NA FC3S. Engine is a non-ported 6port 13b w/ atkins pulleys and modified airbox w/ k&n drop in filter. I have already a Racingbeat Streetable Header, a Magnaflow 2.5" Striaght Through Mid-Muffler, and a Titanium Resonator w/ Titanium Extension Pipe(bent to exit out drivers side).
I know i want to use 2.5" tubing but i am still debating whether or not to use a cat. Also, I'm wanting to use a Racingbeat Presilencer before the magnaflow muffler. so here is the order i am trying to set up the exhaust: 1. Racingbeat Streetable Header 2. Midpipe Using: a.) 2.5" stainless steel mid pipe into presilencer b.) 2.5" high flow cat into presilencer 3.Racingbeat Presilencer 4.Magnaflow MidMuffler 2.5" in/out 5. Titanium Resonator w/ Titanium Extension Pipe **please note that the magnaflow muffler will be before the rear differential** so the point of this thread is to ask you guys wether or not you think that a cat, presilencer, and muffler will fit between the header flange and the Ti Resonator flange(resonator flange would sit right next to the front of the left rear tire) Let me know what you think Racingbeat Header + Titanium Resonator Pics: |
