Hello
Hey. My name is Jake. Im new to the whole rotary thing. I got a 2004 RX8 GT. I couldnt believe how hard it was to find this car lol. It took me almost four months to find one like I wanted it. And I finally found one down to every detail i wanted =]. But anyways, I live around Hickory,NC. I would like to get into some of the meets and rides with ya'll guys. Or maybe just a few people around Hickory meet up there one day or something. Thanks =] and any help would be terrific =]

Jake, if you have this coming weekend off you should join us at Deals Gap. Just a short skip down the road for you. It would truly make you appreciate the car you just bought.

You are thinking of the Deals Gap Rotary Rally which is still in the works, two different dates have been laid out there but not final just yet. I think VR8 and a few others are just going for a small weekend trip. I was thinking about doin the same. It will cost you money for registration to the DGRR but that is to be announced later.

If you want to stay Friday night and/or Saturday night Jake, we can get you in with an inflatable mattresse. If that's the case you could take a portion of the room rate which is $149/night. Right now it's split with one other person using a bedroom Saturday night. So Friday night is a 2 way split and Saturday night would be split 3 ways. It's confusing I know. Let me know what you have in mind.
We would travel down Interstate 40 passing Hickory, NC somewhere around 12:00 or 1:00 on Friday afternoon. |
