I bought my first new car in 1975, a 1974 RX-4

I wish I still had it. It was a great car! It got totalled by a pickup truck driven by a drunk while I was stopped at a red light.
I've since owned a 1987 TII, a 1988 RX-7 convertible (I gave those to a friend), a 1994 FD, and a 2004 RX-8. I still have the FD and the RX-8.

Welcome! Yet another example of why I hate drunk drivers.

NoDOHC will become famous soon enough
Good to have you here. What is it about RX7s that is so catching?

I find RX-7 so catching because:

First of all, thank you all very much for the welcome!
Why do I like RX-7? Part of it is because I like things that are a bit out of the ordinary. I like the FD and the RX-8 because they don't look "run of the mill" (especially the RX-8). Truth be told, the FC coupe and the FC convertible looked a bit too much like a Porsche 944 and a 240 SX, respectively for my liking but I like the way the cars handle (RX-7 and RX-8). I like the FD because it looks gorgeous (It still gets compliments for its looks, from people who know what it is and those who don't). They're especially impressed when I tell them it's a 1994!
