The Newbie

Hi from Boston, Ma
Hi all,
I bought my 85 Rx7 GS last fall. It was in decent shape, had no rust anywhere and interior was all intact. Since then I rebuilt the carb, mechanized the secondaries, and jetted the primary and secondary fuel jets. I also replaced the exhaust with a header to muffler, no cats with 2" 1/4 pipe in between. New rear springs and shocks, sway bar bushings, front brakes and bearings, complete tune up, idler arm and thats about it so far. She runs pretty well now and has plenty of pickup. My next project is to cut a hoodscoop in right where the air cleaner is and line the air feed to the scoop as to make a little ram air setup. Then I guess a street port will come after that. I already dumped alot of money into her and that wont be till next summer. |
