Default need help asap. 88 TII plastic part that bolts onto the waterpump

ok i have an 88 rx7 TII and the plastic part that bolts onto the waterpump at the top hose is seeping in a seam in the plastic and i need to find out if i can buy a new on or if i need to buy the complete waterpump. all the junkyards around her do not have the cars..any helpp would be great and also if anybody has some websites for some after mkt parts id love to check em out.

It sounds like the coolant filler neck?
You can buy a brand new one from the Mazda dealer.
It comes with a brand new radiator cap too.

Does yours have a bypass fitting?
If not, I'd recommend getting the FD part, as it's aluminum and will probably outlast the engine itself.

im not sure if it has the bypass fitting but if i went to a junk yard what year mazda could i pull one until i made it to a mazda dealership. and yes it was the filler neck it just rite where they molded the plastic together its barley leaking but im not chancing a car i just spend 3k for and me drive down the road and it breaks open and i overheat it and screw it up worse..

I would not chance a used one.
Used ones have a chance to be leaking.
I had one tiny crack in mines that you cannot see except for the telltale white residue from coolant drying up.

A brand new one is like $50 with cap, I think.
Cheap insurance.
