Turbo oil feed restrictor
So, the newly installed S5 turbo in my FB smokes when it's cold. I'm not running the stock oil lines, and I'm told that there is a restrictor in the stock feed line to reduce the oil pressure that the turbo sees. Since mine doesn't have that, it seems to be getting too much oil pressure and forcing some past the seals when the engine is cold and the oil pressure is high.
So my question is, what size of restrictor pill do I need? This engine runs just over 90 PSI at WOT when warm.

There's no restictor in the line itself.
The restrictor is built into the turbo center housing. BTW, how big of a line are you running? I hope it's not bigger than a -4AN. -Ted |

It's 5/16", so equivalent to -5 AN. Is that my problem?
