Drive back from DGRR also dead motor
Well as others have posted i blew my motor also right 2 blocks from the house looks like front apex took a shit.. made it with enough speed to cruise into my front driveway anyways mine was the black 2nd gen with the bronze Mazdaspeed ms01's

LOL! ^^^ seriously i should have it up in a little bit i have a few spare parts but now i have to have to find a rotor and have it milled but all in all i should be good it was good hanging with you guys! miss miami =( lol but had a blast tearing up the dragon

Any ideas on what happened? That housing looks insane, I have rarely seen both housings and rotors get trashed.
As far as sr's go, I love them for daily driver engines. My sr got 32mpg, but I would never use one to try and make horse power. I think the rotary is easier and cheaper to make power, along with having more displacement. |

Well recent update!
pulled the engine out in a whopping 2 hours had it apart in about 3hours heres just 3 pics    after Kevin (Rotary Resurrection) took it apart for me we found aout 7 (3mm solid corner seals) completely broken and out of the 6 apex seals 1 did survive so i have trashed both rotors and both housings! the blue hose? i run 5/8th oil line for heater hose (as it can handle high temps and is flame retardent)
