The Newbie
|
hello from Kansas
Discovered the site this PM. Am preparing my 89 convertible for new paint job. It had been painted before, but they did a terrible job of preparing it before shooting the paint. will need a right tail light and front bumper cover. Will soon have 86 and 87 coupes to part out. non-turbo. 86 runs and has 5 spd. 87 is auto, but won't start. haven't had time to see why.
The purist may not talk to me. I put a 97 chevy 4.3 liter V6, with auto trans in it. still use the rx7 air cleaner, and if you don't look close, and weren't real car savvy, you wouldn't notice the change by looking. I can get away from a stop sign now. the rotary had auto trans, and was a dog off the line. Now with the 4:10 diff. and limited slip, it really humps. See you later. Or I guess it is "read you later". JL |
