Hi
I have four 1988 RX7's: a 10th Anniversary, a GXL, a Turbo II and a Vert.
I was in high school when I read an article about the Wankel engine and was fascinated by it. Didn't get back to this until my son bought an 87 from a girl for $150. Then we made a trade, so I ended up with the 87. Found an 88 turboII and bought it for $750, it had been wrecked but still ran. So, we did a swap, took us about a year and a half. Got it going and a week later some guy rear ended it and totaled it. Have bought or traded for 7 of them since then, in various states of condition. In process of installing engines in 2 of them, the AE and Vert are running. Will be getting them out of the garage in about a month. Needless to say I like RX7"s |
