My FB Cold Air Box From 1988 Shows Up
Back in 1983, I purchased a new 12A powered FB RX-7.
I immdiately upgraded to a Weber 45DCOE and Rotory Performance exhaust. Later after the engine was rebuilt with a "rally" port, I created a cold air box that used ram air from infront of the radiator, modified the Weber, extended the length of the header pipes by about 3 feet before they came together, and upgraded the suspension. Retuning gave me 185 whp. A local owner recently found my cold air box and Weber at a parts place. Last edited by cewrx7r1; 04-08-2013 at 08:52 PM.. |
