Default wheel/tire fitment pic thread

There are probably threads on here about wheel and tire fitment when it comes to how they fit the car, but I wanted to start this thread so people could post pics of their wheel and tire combo so you can see how much the tire stretches, bulges, or fits perfectly.

If you choose to post pics of how they fit the car too, please remember to post if you have stock fenders, rolled, flared, aftermarket widebody, or whatever. It also wouldn't be a bad idea to post camber info as well, and maybe suspension (for reference as far as clearance between wheel and coilover, etc.). And if you've had several setups over the years, please post them up.

The reason I wanted to do this is because I'm currently looking for new tires to fit new wheels and I'd like them to sit perfectly, not bulged and not stretched, and I know tire companies rate their sizes differently than other companies, and most likely the same with wheels. So here goes...

My first setup...
Wheels- Enkei RPF1
Sizes/offsets- 18x9.5 +45 F, 18x10 +38 R
Tires- Dunlop SP Sport FM901 (not sold anymore but I figured new Dunlops might be the same)
Sizes- 235/40-18 F, 265/35-18 R
Optional info- Rolled fenders, no idea on camber, STANCE coilovers

Notes on this fitment...anorexic tires on these wheels. Quite a bit of room, no rubbing IIRC. I rolled the fenders anticipating not having a lot of room but there was quite a bit actually.

My second setup...
Wheels- Enkei RPF1
Sizes/offsets- 18x10 +38 F, 18x10.5 +15 R
Tires- Dunlop SP Sport FM901 F, Sumitomo HTRZ III R
Sizes- 265/35-18 F, 295/30-18 R
Optional info- Flared rear fenders, tried to flare fronts but unsuccessful, still no idea on camber (same as before, probably close to stock), STANCE coilovers

Notes on this setup...still anorexic on the front, thank goodness because I needed them to be stretched since I couldn't flare the fender. The rear tires fit 10.5" perfectly! I don't remember much rubbing on the front, maybe a little, but not much on the rear surprisingly.

My third and current setup...
Wheels- Enkei RPF1
Sizes/offsets- 18x10 +38 F, 18x10.5 +15 R
Tires- Nitto NT555RII
Sizes- 285/35-18 F, 305/35-18 R
Optional info- Flared the rear fenders a hell of a lot more (probably about 2 inches past stock at this point), camber I believe is about -1.5* front and -1* rear, but I don't remember for sure, STANCE coilovers still.

Notes on this setup...these tires, I feel, are way too tall. The 285/35 fits the 10" pretty well width-wise, but it's just too tall. And the 305/35 bulges out a bit on the 10.5, which would be OK if, again, the tire wasn't too tall. I can't tell if there is rubbing when I'm driving it, but when I'm stopped there is tire residue on the rear fenders where the end of the lip (flare) ends on the stock fender. I believe there is rubbing on the front fenders too but I can't tell for sure. I DO know that the tires rub the frame in front of the wheel on one side, driver's side IIRC. I was thinking about just putting a spacer on there and see what happens but decided to just get smaller tires, and since I wanted a new set of wheels anyway that I'd just get new wheels too haha. I have some Shine 20+ wide front fenders but I haven't put them on yet. I've test fit them and this front setup leaves about 5-10mm of clearance.

Damn Johnson, I knew I should've rocked the 255/275 combo on my 17x8 17x9 Works. The 235/255 combo is just not working for me, the tires look too narrow for the rims.

Looks fucking awesome

Lets not see any stretched tires please! Using a 225/35-17 on a 17x12 wheel looks like shit. I see this all too much on the other forums.

thank God I'm not the only one that hates that faggy fad. The one posted above barely qualifies as a stretched tire since is not noticeable ( I guess I've seen BAD stretched setups)....i see no stretch fad ITT.

I don't know why ppl like to do the "aggressive fitment/fat lip" but the wheels don't fit the car without rubbing on the suspension, fender or requiring retarded camber as a band-aid.

Macz and Josh are going Wide with their setups but they're doing it right!! Good posts and pics so far.

I know I need new tires and coilovers...no $$ for them quite yet

If I go into a corner hard enough, you'll see my tires "stretch", lol.

I just would rather see wheels & tires that fit they were meant to, but if some feels the need to follow that trend then oh well it's thier car. I need to get new pics, but here are some of mine.
