While rebuilding my S4 NA engine, measured with bathroom scale...so...

Rotors: 9 lbs ea. = 18 lbs
Housings: 12 lbs ea. = 24 lbs
Eccentric shaft: 14 lbs
Front Iron: 22 lbs
Middle Iron: 27 lbs
Rear Iron: 26 lbs
Front cover: 4 lbs
Stationary gears: 6 lbs
Oil pan: 4 lbs
All engine bolts: 10 lbs
(oil pump, bearings, counter weight, chain & gears, engine pins, oil pick-up tube, oil filter pedestal, op sensor, etc.): 10 lbs

Total: 165 lbs
I guess this is considered a "short block".

I weighed both a LONG time ago.
There is very little difference between the series.
I can check the weights when I get back later this weekend?

I weighed all the major assemblies of my TII transmission swap (trans, clutch/flywheel, driveshaft), but I won't have access to the numbers for another month and a bit (written on a piece of paper some ~4500kms away).
