FS 1971 Mazda R100 $5k OBO (Texas)
1971 Mazda R100. This R100 comes with a Dana 60 rear end as it was used in the late 70's and early 80's as a drag car in the North West Drag Racing Association Series and was a 1980 Eliminator class winner. This car has been warehoused since 1982. Included in the sale is what is in the pictures. There is no drivers seat. Extras include the Accel coils, MSD 6A Box, Sun tachometer, AutoMeter oil gauge, unspecified water temp gauge and battery box in trunk. The floorboards are solid! Body damage as showed in pictures, worst is rot around the gas filler, dent in driver rear quarter, dent in hood, and holes in trunk lid. Solid car and very good candidate for restoration or continued drag car.
Car currently doesn't have a fuel tank I will include one(R100) with the purchase If you are wanting to restore it or need more parts than what is here I do have a significant stash of R100 parts and am willing to negotiate with them. We did recently post the car to ebay but it didn't meet the reserve Photo album for R100 This car has been stored indoors for nearly 30 years rotarydave@aol.com (dave) david.meditz/at/us.army.mil (dave) kiddynrse@aol.com (lisa) cell phone 210-391-6871 Last edited by Rotarydave; 01-05-2012 at 02:13 PM.. it has potential but it would sell it easier if you put a motor in it, got it running and put some door panels on and cleaned up the interior a bit.

The floor piece is not as big an issue as you are making it. It was cleanly cut and isn't rusted so a patch isn't a problem. The problem is would you use the Dana rear end if so the floor would need modification anyway. The best part about this car is no real other body issues.
