12a to 13b
So I'm going to drop a built 4-port into my gsl any thing in peticular I should watch out for. like what happens to the coolant wash? and should I keep the A/C or do I give up the creature comforts for weight loss? BTW this is going to be my personal car no plans for the track, though I may want to teach some punks a lesson

not familiar with "coolant wash".
Basically to use the front mounts found on a 12a (or 13b gslse) on a later model 13b your going to need a GSLSE oil pan and a 12a or 13b gslse front cover. This will pretty much allow the whole deal to bolt into the car. Now, if you have an originally 12a equipped car, the subframe is slightly different than the 13b GSLSE. This is to account for the size of the engine. So to make sure your transmission lines back up, you can bend the engine mount member by putting the tabs on the ends in a vise and bending them. I cant recall exactly what they need to be pushed out to though. Also a small section will need to be cut out to clear the corner of the engine. this is how it was done on my car. s4 13b with a 12a front cover, crossmember and engine mount bracket.

you can use either the old heavy cast 12a bracket and accessories or the lighter and possibly in better condition later 13b parts can be used.

its not going to drop straight in without those tweaks, but its close enough where it should only take so much fussing to make it work. Ill see if i can pull up the measurements i used to bend them.

found it. You need to move the holes for the engine mounts around 20mm towards the rear from where they are at currently.
