WANTED TO BORROW: S5 Stock Turbo Motor
Does anyone have a stock S5 turbo motor i can borrow so that i can pass my referee inspection? I can pick up and bring back if you are not to far from San Diego. I would only be using it to pass my smog. I will not use the engine for any other driving other than to the referee station and back. As soon as i pass my inspection, i will pull the motor out and bring it right back. I promise. Thanks

That is a pretty tall order. You are talking some serious labor and time to swap a motor in and out on 2 cars.
It would be significantly cheaper and easier to acquire all the stock emissions equipment, and just spend a day installing, then another putting it back to modified. With an extra catalytic converter and an air pump (electric, hidden) connected directly to the main cat, you could have a chance.
