Barn Sat
Hi I just got a 1986 Rx7 that was sitting in a barn for 13 years. I have done a lot so far to get it down the road. I'm trying to fix the minor things now and one of the biggest problems I have is no heat. When I try to use it the fan kicks on and I can hear the flaps open and shut for the different vents but still no heat. If you have any ideas feel free to comment.

Is the car running while you try your heat? Try burping the coolant system

at any rate is the car is running and you get no heat im guessing the heater core could be clogged

hey, you're in luck if it turns out to be a problem with the heater core!
My friend has the whole S4 system for sale, everything from the logicon to the heater core itself is up for grabs if you need it!

It could be a clogged heater core as mentioned, or the mixer motor (not sure if that's its specific name, it's been a while) might not be functioning and instead stuck on the vents/AC setting. You should be able to hear it move when you move between the Cold/Hot settings with the car off.
