Default starter died again

My replacement starter is only 2 months old...

I have power, and when I turn on my headlights and try to crank, my headlights aren't dimming at all from the power transfer, so does that mean it could be an electrical problem? I have my car jacked up and have gone over the wires under the car, everything APPEARS to be plugged in fine.

What could cause this?

I tried to look for my receipt for the part, but only found the box for it, not sure why it isn't with the box.

Called up car quest, and they said there's nothing they can do without it either.

Check if you're getting 12 or more volts at the starter power and on the solenoid switch line when you crank. You might not be getting any power to the starter or solenoid.

+1. You may have a bad connection to the starter. Or you may have gotten a bad starter.
