Default Another newb with rotors on his mind...

Howdy, y'all. I'm a crazy rotorhead from the middle of Tennessee, and I figured this would be as good a place as any to find out about the guts of my '88 convertible, and maybe get some suggestions about mods I should do first, although my first priority is pulling the engine and giving it a good disassembly and cleaning, in order to see what the state of the mechanical bits is.

My current crop of vehicles is:
2008 Suzuki SX4 Hatchback - sees way too much of I-40
1988 RX-7 Convertible - Hasn't seen a road since 2005

I hope I can learn from some of the more experienced guys and get the old girl running again, so I can make room in the garage to work on that old Buick wagon that I'm eying for a road trip car and get the RX back where she belongs... On the back roads of rural Tennessee.
