Default can u take the auto ajust do it hurt the car

im going to put lowering springs on my fc but the rear struts are not so good they are stok with 142k on them can i go with standerd ajust struts on it or am i wasting my time give me some ideas be cause im on a bugit i ment to take the auto ajust off

Yes you can take off the auto adjust. You just need to do struts and springs at the same time. No biggie.

I was putting lowering springs on my 88 GXL (with that adjusting suspension) and I kinda screwed up one of the rear shocks. Autozone had some non-adjustable replacements for about $35/each, they work great for now, until I can find some nicer shocks.

I'd be surprised to see any FC over 100k miles that still has working AAS.
