Tell us about how you acquired this car? A: I purchased it from another RX7 owner who had bought it as an extra parts car. I was in the process of building another GSL-SE when he offered this one to me for parts. I proceeded to put everything from the other one onto this one and completed it in 2 yrs. Q: How did you first become interested in modified cars? Have you had any previously? A: I have been into modified cars since 1986. I have built everything form an import car/mini truck/ lowrider/ and complete custom show car. Decided to get back into the imports due to the fun factor. Q: Whats the biggest reason you chose a rotary powered car to modify? A: I have always liked the RX7 since 1984. I owned another GSL-SE back in 1990 which I bought from the original owner and used it as my daily for 4yrs. It started my Rotary Craziness. I have owned 5 since. Q: Is this car your daily driver? Do you participate in any form of racing? (Drag, Auto-X, etc) A: No. Just my week end toy. I have taken it to the Drag strip once in which it ran a 13.32@117mph. I am now converting it back to FI to gain more power. Q: What do you enjoy most about your car? A: The surprise Vette owners get when I leave them behind. All the looks it receives at shows and meets. I have kept everything hidden to maintain a sleeper look. Q: Do you have any future plans for the car, or any car? A: Converting it back to FI. Also just purchased a 3rd Gen. Q: Any other hobbies besides cars? A: Mountain Biking with my sons. Q: Anyone you'd like to thank? A: The wife... Putting up with the "other" woman wasn't easy.. THANKS!!! Additional Pictures:

It was nice doing the frame up BUT it gets dirty and chipped really easily since I used spray paint for everything... It is a driver and not a trailer queen so it will recieve it share of bumps and bruises...
It is an FB not an SA.... L8R |
