RamaJama from Alabama
Hello all,
New to the world of rotary with my recent purchase of a black 04 Rx8 ( think its the GT package) - Auto - I have added a AEM cold air intake and cat-back exhaust thus far. I have sadly run into some recent problems with the car not starting when its warm and after some research found this could be larger problems. I took it for a compression test and diagnostics and lo and behold its to blame. While I am new to the rotary I have done some looking around and it seems I am in for a possible rebuild. I searched some other forums and was not really able to find any fairly close rotary mechanics. I was hoping to ask the experienced crowd for any suggestions in Alabama preferably close to Birmingham. Kind of a combo intro/question will post in another forum if need be. Thanks everyone and Happy Drivesgiving! |

I would recommend Luis Canizales in Gadsden, AL has been building Rotary engines for past 30 years. Phone number is: 256-458-8900
If anyone knows of other builders in the area feel free to post! Welcome to RCC!
