Hi, just got my registration accepted, all human, first timer...it all started when I was about 12yo can't remember I saw that cool new car (a 3rd gen silver) driving by with a certain unique sound and then years later I saw that 2nd gen sky metallic blue 1987 Turbo II with moonroof for sale in a used car dealer just by the main boulevard of my hometown (there were so rare in Canada, it came from the west by a RCMP guy) and I lowered the price from 5500$Can to 3500$ since I made the salesman understand although I was just 18yo I new that if I ran a compression test etc etc that I was his best shot at selling the car (I would rater pay 2500$ but since I really want the car....)...Deal! I ran the comp test and it was border line, well I put a turbo timer and ran the engine until it blew up a few months later slightly after the premier release of Fast and Furious...everyone was cranked up after the movie: donuts, racing etc etc (this movie is the main movement of in my hometown for RX-7, tuning and of course rice boys hehe it really started a trend that fade away with time)...long story short everyone was coming to my car after the movie I was the only owner around...I only have two regrets: not having the money to buy a 3rd gen back then and second to have tried to make a V8 conversion with the car...entered university abroad, project died, sold the car...the dream fade off.
After a few muscle cars and 11 years passing by as Arnold would say: I'M BACK! Looking to build/buy a 20B with a fat T78 or T88 turbo hehe I have to do my homework all over again, best apex seals...this site is HUUUGE! Where to start?

wb

but also keep in mind most of the best 20Bs are already gone and in cars now, the rest are the leftovers and fetching $5k+ for unknown condition blocks. add in the necessity to rebuild the unknown block and you have a near $10k engine stand adornment to start with. hope you saved up while you were gone.

Welcome back

20B is a turd really, too heavy, too stupid, wrong sound!
It ruins the weight balance of the car, it ruins your wallet, if you want a car that sounds like a Supra, buy a Supra

13B is the way to go......... true rotary noise, and as much power as you could ever dream about.

13B street port, BW400SX3 turbo or GTX45, cosmo intake manifold set up, water injected 36psi boost 850bhp or just put around on 15psi and have 485bhp, put on a good electronics package, nice gearbox, and enjoy it!
