rhythmic squeak from rear end
Just recently, my car has developed a new sound. It has the same rhythmic pattern as a warped rotor (increases with speed, etc), but not the typical scraping sound. It's more of a rubbery squeak. I jacked up the rear end and turned each wheel by hand, they didn't have any more resistance than usual or make any noise. I felt around and didn't find anything rubbing the tires. I forgot to check to see if anything was rubbing the driveshaft.
I had someone tell me it was a wheel bearing, but I'm not too sure. Wouldn't a wheel bearing be a constant hum?

The tempo increases depending on speed, but the sound itself doesn't change.

So I jacked up the rear-end today and discovered that the rear driver side wheel does indeed have some wobble. Crap.
