RB Exhaust Question - Turbo Downpipe to N/A Presilencer
I have the full RB n/a exhaust (header --> 2.5" presilencer) and I'm turboing my car. Will the 3" turbo downpipe bolt to the 2.5" presilencer?

I'm guessing no. For the T2's at least, RB makes two types of DP & presilencer designs. One type is the 3" DP & presilencer combo which is only compatible with the full RB exhaust system (turbo to tailpipes) - can't bolt this one up to a stock or stock replacement catback system. The other type is a 2-1/2" DP & presilencer combo, which is designed to replace everything from the turbo out to the stock main cat, and can be used with any stock replacement catback system.

So as a recap, the 2.5 to 2.5 will work. So as a second recap, the 3 to 2.5 will also work.

Score. I presume the 2.5 to 2.5 will flow better since I would think the lip of going from 3 to 2.5 would be a restriction.

I plan on getting a 2.5, but if I find a 3 at the right price it's nice to know I can pick it up.
