Godspeed coilovers
These are dirt cheap, and im in need of coilovers quickly. Are these complete crap? I need something with 7/5 or 8/6 spring rates, and these seem to fit that.
Would appreciate any advice! Thanks Collin |

Collin! I has them. They work ok for the price. I've been daily driving on them for over a year now and haven't had any problems. I've heard horror stories of GS/Megan brand shocks blowing out instantly, so I took a little more time to break them in. Keep in mind they ride pretty rough. Not unbearable, but rough. I don't regret buying mine, but I kinda wish I would've saved the extra few 100's and bought some PBM's. More features than the Godspeeds, but a nicer ride. Plus they are rebuildable.

pretty much what ih6601 said. i had a friend use a set of these in his s13 they will do basic things but you defs get what you paid for motoiq.com has a suspension setup tech talk article that goes forever and half about suspension in imports they even started a sub article talking about drift setups but the one thing they pound into your head is invest in a good set of coilovers. you will end up paying more in the long run by going cheap and then switching to a better set over time but take a look at the article because they list off companies that take coilovers like godspeeds and tear them apart and re-valve and rebuild them at a price. take a look at the article and read it im sure it will it will point you in the direction best for you and good luck buddy
