My FC stopped running~PLEASE HELP
I just bought an 87 RX7 N/A last night, was running fine till about half way home. Then it just started losing power and wont rev past 4,000. What could be causing the problem?
This morning I turned the car on and let it idle for a minute then drove it around the block. It was idling at about 1,200 and ran just fine this time with plenty of power I went out a second time today and the car wouldnt start. what could possibly be causing any of these problems? Thanks |

No CEL?
Fuel pump (or fuel related issue) is a good start. Are you out of gas?

electrical system is a good place to start, too. poor grounds in different places can cause each of the individual problems you described.

I would recommend a compression check, then a tune up (plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, etc.), if no change you might want to check out the fuel pump, tps sensor, maf sensor, etc.
Did you happen to run over something before the trouble began?
