Default 84 12a turbo buildup (On the Cheap)

The idea of this project was to turbo my 84 for less than 2k.
Items used where mostly eBay parts and a s4 turbo/Mani

Billy over at respeed made my exhaust manifold adapter and intake mod!
Fuel was handled buy a walboro 255
Aeromotive 13301 regulator.

Car might get paint this summer or i will find a Better shell. Enjoy The pics!

This was not a glamorous build its effective and when i get a new shell or rip this one apart for paint it will be no expense spared type of deal!
I just wanted to prove to myself that i could do this!

I have no numbers as of yet all i can say is its fast running 6-8psi!

Definitely white turbo FB's for the win. Mine will be white as well.

Thats actually damn good for the $ you put in.. the shell looks nice too, I wouldnt try to replace it (unless the rust underside is too far gone).

I'm curious though... the BOV didnt even sound a LITTLE like it was opening (maybe just the vid is hard to hear) but it seems like it would at least vent mildly. Also that top-hat on the carb is pretty tiny for what i was thinking it would be. Get some #s and let us know, def nice job...

blow off valve dosnt really crack open to much unless i gun the piss out of her. The carb was prepped buy a bud out of state. Boost really only builds when the secondaries open. They are mechanical as well. On the road that bov is louder than sh*t. Sound was crappy taken with i phone. But all you can hear any way is the turbo spooling up!

The rust issue is right at the drivers side floor pan inner wheel well area. About a small cookie sheet worth in the pan and a little on the wheel well. I am not the best with body work but i might try to patch the floor up i guess.
