Refered from the old club to the new one by Polito Racing
So I have been a member over there since June of 03. I had just gotten my first 7(85 gsl) and I figured id join a forum to help me learn a little about my new car. I learned a few things and met some pretty cool folks on there...only one in person though...but never really made friends with anyone where I felt like part of the group. But, never the less, I have been feeling like alot of the fun was gone from the site, but didnt really know of any other 7 forum that had enough traffic to keep me interested. And ive seen some of the guys(Kevin Landers for example) that I thought knew their stuff and really helped me, even though not directly, get constantly badgered over kinda stupid things. Anyway, I just drove up to NC over the weekend to bring my old 87 TII to Paul and he told me about the site so I figured id join. Looks good so far, and lookin foward to getting to know some more great people.

The one under repairs. It should be running by tomorow. I just dropped the engine on it all i need to do isto conect al the plugs and hoses, the intercooloer and the intake. ill let you know when I'm finished. I have a question. Who had previously rebuilt that engine? That engine had new apex seals and some other new crap on it. the reason it went was because instead of using a gasket set they used silicone and water got into the oil and it had a bearing failure. the rotor slamed against the iron and smashed the side seals into the grooves on the rear rotor. but everything else was intact. who ever rebuilt that engine had no clue on what he was doing. talk to you later. how is the white car working for you?

No Shit?? The guy I bought it from never said anything about it being rebuilt. I put new turbo and downpipe gaskets on it. And also the front oil seal. I also fabbed up the custom oil injector lines....came out pretty good I think. Everything else internally was all before me....what size apex seals were on it? Any major damage to the engine or rotors?
Later man. O btw, I checked the alternator, its good. I think maybe the car being low on fuel could be causing the chugging. Ill be messing with it in the morning. Jeremy |

nah everything is still reusable even the apex seals. the apex seals were Mazda 2mm ones I was able to pull out the stuck side seals and cleaned them out pretty good then tried whith other side seals i had laying arround and them weren't getting stuck anymore. now i have a question does the fuel pump in the black car have a kill switch? I finished the swap but the fuelpump isnt kicking in.
