Weird Problem
So, ever since i have rebuilt the engine and ported it (street) i have been having a weird issue. It is intermittent so it does not happen all of the time. But it has been happening a little bit more then normal lately and starting to get on my nerves.
So here we go.... When i am driving and i let out of the throttle it will "bog down" or that is what i call it. It will stall as if it flooded itself out and i have to a) let it sit for a little bit and then try and start it (it will after a while of chilling) orrrrrrrrr b) start it (it will not stay started unless i pump the gas) and pump the gas pedal for a few minutes keeping it running until the problem clears up. It typically clears itself up after the car reaches 4k rpm for some weird reason. And then everything is back to normal. And off i go until it happens again. So i am wondering if this might be a bad coil pack, a tune issue (but it happened on the base map as well), or something else that i can not think of at the moment haha. The car is a 93 base, with a street port, gt37r single, full exhaust with no cats or res mid pipe, and well power fc.

I'm just guessing, but it sounds like a sticking (open) injector flooding the engine.

Well, i assume that it would have to be the primaries. Because i just put new 1600cc's in it and i am sure that it is not those. But the weird thing is, i just replaced both old primaries with a used set of stock ones because one of the old ones was sticking open. And the problem is still here..... Maybe i just have another set of bad injectors. IDK, but it is sure making me mad hahaha. I look so stupid on the side of the road in a nice car trying to unflood it....... grrrrrr.

are you using the PFC? Check duty cycle and AFR upon decel. Maybe the decel fuel cut is disengaged on the PFC. Also, check your Fuel Pressure after you turn the car off, does it drop really fast? Your TPS could also be out of adjustment.

gt37r?
I'd recommend pulling all four inj's and sending them off to be cleaned and flowtested, i've seen new injectors have issues. |

While you are at it, check the mechanical settings on the throttlebody and dashpot. Once those are properly set, check the TPS readings.
