Slow ascend with window, no power mirrors, unplugging airbags?

So, right now, whenever I lower the driver side window, it goes down in a normal speed, but when I try and put it back up, it takes forever. What could be the problem? Also, How can I test it? Also, does anyone have any tips on putting the door cover back on? I can never seem to get it on completely right.

Also, my power mirrors don't seem to work, is there a fuse or something for them? Any ideas?

Also, I'm going to be taking out my dash soon and I would like to know, what would have to happen first before the airbags deploy? Is it true that I can unplug the battery and I don't have to worry about the airbags?

This is for a 94 Montego Blue Touring. Please let me know. Thanks!!

Mirrors

There is a fuse for the mirrors, can't remember which one at the moment. The regulator could be bad on your window. Yes removing power from the car will prevent the airbags from deploying.

You can try and lube the guide rails and surrounding rubber. Makes a mess and takes a while to clean off the glass but it usually helps. Silicone spray works well. Usually its the overengineered mass of rubber moldings that warp or come out of place and bind against the glass. The regulator itself can go bad and the cables inside can stretch. Watch the window as it moves and see if it is forcing against anything.

have your mirrors always worked and then one day they just stopped? If it's been like that since you bought it, it could be as simple as the connector being unplugged.

They worked before, it just stopped working all of a sudden, that's why I thought it might be a fuse, however, I'm going to be taking out the dash and redoing all of my interior later on, so it could be a loose line, but I want to see if it's a fuse or something first.
