Oops. Didn't mark PP orientation to FW...

Pressure Plate -> Flywheel Does it matter? I think not, the clutch was only on the car for about 300 miles at most.

I'd say just measure to double check everything is in spec according to the fsm and then go ahead and put it back on. Treat it like youre breaking it in again while driving.

Doesn't matter... PP is supposed to be a balanced unit, and there is no easy way to balance it... Can you imagine trying to drill holes in it to lighten it??? *gasp* -Ted |

Yea, I thought this would not be a big concern... But I hope I only have to do this job once, so I am taking my sweet time and rececking everything I can. Thanks.

It'll only go on one way. The alignment pins have bolts on either side, and turning it one way or another would either cover a bolt hole or leave a hole in the PP with no threads behind it.

Yeah, it doesn't matter. The dowel location pins help locate the PP to the flywheel. If you manage to install the PP wrong, the transmission will never engage. -Ted |
