CALI Grown E85 Street Car: Project BLACKADDE

So, I started this project last August thinking that I was going to leave the car at the body shop to install the RE-Amemiya ADGT widebody, and then I decided I wanted to do just a few small upgrades.

It began with wanting to port the motor to go single, run E85, completely redoing the suspension, new interior, really putting a brand new car together. I even got some nice valve stem caps.

I'm hoping by posting this thread I'll get some more motivation to finish the project. I'm trying to take her to Seven Stock XII this year, but unfortunately with a full time college students budget it doesn't look like it's going to happen. So, I'm currently in the process of looking for sponsors to bring my baby to life.

Ben "Karack" @ Rotary Evolution in Northern California will be the engine builder/tuner, and will be updating me/us with pictures of the engine build.

Anyway, hope everyone enjoys the build thread.

Some brand new interior stuff... there's actually a lot more than this. Going for the brand new car smell.

Saw it on the "other" site, but it's also being discussed here in the 3rd gen. section.

600+ on high boost....500+ on low

I've been having a lot of problems with the body shop I went to, so I'm looking for someone else to take it too. The 1st place was a family friend, and he really doesn't care about my project, and hasn't put forward the quality work I am looking for.

Good news is that I already know who to take it to, just got to see if he has time for it. He always has 5-10 cars he's working on.

If only you lived in Ontario, I'd gladly make you need jaw surgery from the drop that would occur when you saw it finished

Best of luck with the car, looks like one HELL of a project with no corners cut - me rikey very much!

since your here classic, do you know of any really nice factory pearl paints?

I was thinking of doing a:
1)diamond black like the Volk TE37's
2) Opal Black form a GTR.
3) Jet Black with Purple Pearl

Thinking about going to the Lexus dealership and checking out some colors too.

Mazda makes a Sparkling black Mica( pearl) I sprayed a buddies FC in this and it is crazy in the sunlight. Pops like 4 different pearls in it. PPG code # 914021 I believe. This is from the 2008 color book under the Mazda section. Kinda $$ though. I think it was 150 a quart.

Nice project you have going. Should be sick at the end.
