Looking for 90mm lights
Basically the ones that EVO-R uses in his sleek headlight kit. I've emailed him but he still hasn't gotten back to me. Does anyone know where he gets them? Or does anyone have any they want to get rid of? I'd be happy getting just a pair of them instead of all 4 if need be. Thanks!

Hey , Not sure what brand Evo uses but here are some 90 mm Hella's. I use them in my RE kit and really like the lighting. I am not using the HID version as of yet. Hopefully this may help. Also I ordered from these guys and they were quick and on point.

I beleive they are HID as they burned dim as all hell when I bought the car and replaced them with the HELLA. Dave Last edited by BigIslandSevens; 11-10-2009 at 08:15 PM. |

The RE-A ones would be great, but I don't want to hack into the metal on the car if I don't have to. The ones in EVO's kit mount to the bucket itself, so as far as I know there is no modification to the car to make the headlamps fit, other than mounting the bucket. I've looked at the Hella ones too, and I've thought about those but from the measurements it looks like I'd have to hack into the frame as well. Do you have any pics of yours? If they don't take too much modification to the car to put it, I might just go with those.
Something else I'm kinda looking for is to have both lights used as low and high beam, instead of one being low and one being high. But that is something I can tool around with later. Thanks! Last edited by speedjunkie; 11-10-2009 at 11:08 PM. |
