New to the site

I'm Josh from the Louisville, KY area... came over from the other site to check things out. I've been in and out of RX7's for the last 5 years or so. Mechanically, I know just enough to be dangerous. My desire to learn has always been greater than my time and resources have allowed me to dedicate. I'll be looking for a project I can actually finsh in my new, long awaited garage. It may be another RX7 or it might be something off the wall. If you need to know anything about trucking or aviation/airlines, I'm your guy.

Hope to run into some of you out there!

Josh

Welcome to the club. Years ago I used to work as a line service tech refueling aircraft for fedex/ups also Privately owned planes too.

The main difference in this forum is that there is NO fee's to buy and sell rotary parts, even for vendors! help support us by letting others know about us!

If you have any rotary questions please post away as we have 40 vendors on this board and over 3000 members who would be happy to answer your questions!

Thanks!

It looks like a great site. I'm more of an observer, but I'll occasionally chime in on things. I've fueled my share of aircraft... never anything bigger than a Citation though. I did the "line" job as a CFI when I was working through my certificates and ratings. Good times... love that Jet A smell in the morning.

That was a fun job to have, I worked at signature flight support at KBHM for a year as they helped pay for a large part of my education! I finished all my flight training over 3 years ago but never took the written as I lost interest and had other priorities. I need to get current and finish up. Hope to own a rotary powered rv-6 or 8 sometime.

I know exactly where that is... I was down in BHM a lot flying at Comair. I don't think I could ever fly something I built

I would like to buy one outright or oversee the build project. I perfer to drive and fly more than the build and fix Happy to say my rotary has not had major trouble in 2 years+ and I'll be taking it from Alabama to Sevenstock soon.

You're more than welcome to caravan over.
