New Motor mounts by Garfinkle Motorworks

I just heard about these and thought I share.. Looks pretty slick!!

Its to help lower the engine for those of your using Garfinkle Oil pan brace... and also less vibration from these nylon mounts.. I'm going to install these up for my new set up with the oil pan..

Pretty slick design. Definitely a bit different than the other mount offerings.

I just went with a set of IRP's poly mounts on my car so I'm not on the market but looks cool.

how much do these lower the engine? any idea if this negatively effects alignment of other components?

They can be made to lower the motor or not ,just need to know when the mounts are cut to length . With this mount there is no metal to metal contact to transfer the vibration as much as some of the others I have seen .The mount bolt is upgraded to a stronger 1/2 inch allen .The holes in the sub frame will need to be filed out to fit .

NICE! I will keep these in mind when I have my next rebuilt. It's only a matter of time.

Bit more details about these motor mounts..

Garfinkle welds the weak points on the steel mount and then he opens it up.

His motor mounts require your old arms to be sent in, He told me that he has couple of them are ready so all you have to do is pay for core and he will refund when your arms gets to him.

Here are more picture of the mounts.. It will lower the engine by 3/16th to compensate for his Oil pan brace... Or if you are running 'other' oil pan brace or aftermarket oil pan, he might be able to custom design/length for you.. I think this is a great new idea for our cars!

Two hundred per set exchange with your old set .I make the top washer ,the two nylon parts and bore out the hole in the stock mount. I buy the 1/2 inch allen bolt and locking nut . The labor is over 6 hours per set plus materials . You must open the holes in the subframe for the stronger bolt .
