1990 GTUs WideBody Project

As some of the poeple who already know me I have saved up parts and found the chassis I wanted finally over the last 5 years of owning and driving various fc's.My very slow going project is gonna finally take off in the next few months. I bought a 1990 White GTUs from a buddy of mines for $800 with a blown tranny and some minor body damage. A screaming deal I could not pass up since I will be Hacking this car up, well only GTUs owners think so.
I will be using the R-Magic Widebody fenders/Skirts and Foresight Front Bumper.
RE- Rear diffusser with a modified stock rear bumper.
Here is a short list of things to come for this project.
Spot welded chassis with custom roll cage.
Custom CF underbody paneling for high speeds
Custom V mount set up
My own dual aluminum oil cooler set up
Transmission and Diff coolers
Fully built engine and GT35R turbo
Racing Seats
Custom Sump and Fuel set up.
Stand alone ECU and Laptop mounted inside the car.
Full array of Gauges.
CF doors if shine decided to make them.
Lexan windows all around
and more to come.
I will only post up a few pictures of the car in it's current condition untill I get it back home from the storage yard.
It's partialy stripped on the interior and no engine or transmission. Fuel tank removed so I am about 10% into this project. Hopefully it will be done by 2010 for sevenstock that year.Till next time.
