OMP Cleaned

Cleaned my OMP today. Soaked it in parts cleaner for 1/2 hour.

When it came out, I removed the pump shaft from the OMP and a shim (?) came out. Is this the only part that should be there?

Mazda says there is only one rubber part - the O-Ring on the outside. Anything else in there that should be checked?

I think it deserves more cleaning!

Out of curiosity what kind of OMP is it? Mechanical or Electrical?

MORE CLEANING? I don't plan on eating with it.

I just wanted the grease and grime off.

It is a mechanical, from a 1988.
