Agreed. Likely won't take long for that ship to sink. Welcome to the forum!

Since $100T2 posted his story, I guess I'll put mine up.
I had just graduated high school and decided I wanted a 7. Given that I was poor and couldn't afford an FD, I settled on an FC (86 Sport). I found a semi-local one and decided to buy it. On the way home from buying it the transmission blew while cruising on the interstate. To this day I have no clue how it happened, all I know is it made a HORRIBLE sound and lost connection. When I drained it pieces of a gear(s) came with the fluid. Anywho, I worked on it by myself and got a tranny in and some other stuff and eventually sent it over to Kevin for a rebuild. So, to that point, I had it about 2-3 years and had put about 100 miles on it. Since the rebuild she's been pretty rock solid. Used it as a daily driver for about 2 years until I bought my 6 about five months ago. Now she needs some work, but I drive her when I can (no heat/air). |
