10th ae problems

ok so my friend has a 10th ae that were trying to get running the motors a fresh rebuild along with new clutch. Now the problems we cant seem to get it to run, it just sits there and cranks, its getting both gas and spark and making combustion. Is there anything thats a common problem on a 2nd gen that is something stupid that usually is the problem? We took all the emissions stuff off thinking that would help and welded the twin scroll open someone said that that should help and still no luck. any help would be great.

Last time I was over there it was VERY flooded. Did you put some new plugs in it yet?

Have you tried to see if it will fire with starting fluid?

yea dj we've swapped plugs a few times and nothing tried the oil down the intake runners and still nothing.

haha well we got it to run sorta, it wont idle, and it takes starting fluid and some used oil in the intake for it to fire up. i got some videos of it on my phone ill post up later.

and no vinnie you cant have haha
