Will this turbo blanket spring hold up?
Like the title says, will the spring I'm using to secure my turbo blanket hold up? Will the heat make it snap?

That looks like a pretty stout stainless steel spring, you should be fine with it.

Good to hear. I did it that way cause it was quicker and easier than cutting cable and crimping them. I seem to have lost my crimper that's sturdy enough and don't want to buy another one just for this job.

Safety wire work's great. I have many many scars on the backs of my hands because of heat shields and safety wire.
But that is extreme over kill. That should hold up just fine. |
