Clutch slipping a little on WOT in 4th & 5th: ok to drive?

I've currently got a clutch that is slipping in 4th & 5th gear on WOT at around 3,500rpm. No other problems with the clutch or going in and out of gears, but I do have the slipping. Got a replacement ACT clutch on order and will be replacing it in the next 7-10 days whenever it comes in. Just wondering if I can drive it a little until then. Am not talking about doing a LeMans race with it; just maybe a 50-70km round trip tomorrow. And I wouldn't be driving crazy as I know I'd have to baby it a little. Cheers for any advice

It won't leave you stranded or damage anything else; just stay out of WOT to avoid the slipping conditions until you can get the new clutch in.

Agreed. When I had a bad clutch it would slip in 5th, 4th, and even 3rd. By that time I was really concerned with the longevity of said clutch before I was able to install the new one.

Cheers for the thoughts. Can't afford the gas to stay in boost for long at the moment anyway!
